Is it safe to download TaskbarX from github? : r github - Reddit GitHub hosts many different kinds of projects and we can't tell you whether it is safe or not The intended audience is developers, so people that want to look at the source code, make modifications or somehow use it That all being said it seems a somewhat popular project, the best you can do is ask the author or in he community for that specific project Given I found one of the "correct" versions GitHub has 300 different versions of it (forks), I couldn't even tell you "yes" or "no
