radiograph
n 1: a photographic image produced on a radiosensitive surface
by radiation other than visible light (especially by X-rays
or gamma rays) [synonym: {radiogram}, {radiograph},
{shadowgraph}, {skiagraph}, {skiagram}]

radiograph \ra"di*o*graph\ (r[=a]"d[i^]*[-o]*gr[a^]f), n.
[Radio- -graph.]
1. An instrument for measuring and recording solar radiation.
[Webster 1913 Suppl.]

2. An image or picture produced upon a sensitive surface, as
of a photographic or fluorescent plate, by some form of
penetrating radiation other than light, as X-rays, beta
rays, etc.; esp., a picture of the internal structure of
opaque objects traversed by the rays; a skiagraph. When
the picture is produced upon photographic film by X-rays,
the picture is usually called an {X-ray photo} or {X-ray}.
When an image is produced on photographic film by a
radioactive substance in close proximity to the film, in a
manner so as to record the spatial distribution of the
radioactive substance, the resulting image is called an
{autoradiograph} or {{autoradiogram}}.
[Webster 1913 Suppl. PJC]

radiograph \ra"di*o*graph\ (r[=a]"d[i^]*[-o]*gr[a^]f), v. t.
To make a radiograph of. -- {ra`di*og"ra*pher}

  • Logarithm - Wikipedia
In mathematics, the logarithm of a number is the exponent by which another fixed value, the base, must be raised to produce that number For example, the logarithm of 1000 to base 10 is 3, because 1000 is 10 to the 3 rd power: 1000 = 103 = 10 × 10 × 10
  • Introduction to Logarithms - Math is Fun
log10(100) = 2 Example: What is log3(81) ? 34 = 81 So an exponent of 4 is needed to make 3 into 81: log3(81) = 4 Sometimes a logarithm is written without a base, like this: log (100) This usually means that the base is really 10 It is called a "common logarithm"
  • Value of Log 10 (Logarithm) - Formula, Chart Shortcut Tricks
What Is Value of Log 10? A logarithm tells us the exponent to which a base must be raised to get a certain number For example, log 10 (with base 10) means “to what power should we raise 10 to get 10?”
  • Value of Log 10 - GeeksforGeeks
Value of log 10 is 1 whereas the value of ln 10 is approximately 2 3026 The logarithm base 10 is denoted as log and is called a common logarithm whereas a logarithm with base e is represented as ln and is called a natural logarithm
  • Logarithm (Logs) - Examples | Natural Log and Common Log
    An exponential equation is converted into a logarithmic equation and vice versa using b x = a ⇔ log b a = x A common log is a logarithm with base 10, i e , log 10 = log
  • Log rules | logarithm rules - RapidTables. com
The base b logarithm of a number is the exponent that we need to raise the base in order to get the number The logarithm of the multiplication of x and y is the sum of logarithm of x and logarithm of y The logarithm of the division of x and y is the difference of logarithm of x and logarithm of y
  • Logarithm | Rules, Examples, Formulas | Britannica
Logarithms of the latter sort (that is, logarithms with base 10) are called common, or Briggsian, logarithms and are written simply log n Invented in the 17th century to speed up calculations, logarithms vastly reduced the time required for multiplying numbers with many digits
  • Log 10 Value: Definition, Calculation, Properties and Applications
In this article, we will explore the log 10 value, also known as the common logarithm, which is widely used in many scientific and engineering applications Definition of Log 10 Value
  • What is a Logarithm? Definition and Examples
What is log 10 1000? Since 10 to the third power = 1000, log 10 1000 = 3 What is a natural logarithm? A natural logarithm, also called natural log is a logarithm that uses base e where e = 2 718281828 As a result, you are always looking for the number of times you multiply e by itself to get y
